As the Secretary of the Ukrainian Chess Club Sydney ('UCCS'), I wish to inform all our friends that on Sunday 22 April 2007 at 1.30 p.m. at the Plast Hall (next door to the Ukrainian Youth Association Hall which is situated at 11 Church Street, Lidcombe) the UCCS invites everyone who is interested in the game of chess (whether as a beginner, experienced player or spectator) to come along for a day of social chess. This will be a good opportunity to stimulate the brain and have an enjoyable time whilst meeting new and old friends!
On the above date, expressions of interest will be sought to participate in forthcoming chess tournaments, in which players will have the opportunity to compete for various trophies, the results of which will be published.
The entry to the social chess day on 22 April 2007 will be $10 per person, which will include light refreshments. If you are interested in attending, could you please let me know as soon as possible.
